In late 2013, faced with the upcoming de-amalgamation of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council in Queensland, Australia, Noosa Shire Council needed to build and manage its own network and communications environment for their multiple locations and their mobile workforce.
Noosa Shire Council wanted a hosted environment to access the many efficiencies and OpEx benefits available. Also, the new solution needed to be rolled out in a short installation period of just a few months, with a ‘go live’ date of January 2 2015, which had to be met.
The council chose Enghouse Interactive and Nexon Asia Pacific to supply their communications and contact centre solution, Nexon Absolute powered by Enghouse Interactive (known as Voxtron in EU). The solution was rolled out on time and delivered on all of Noosa Shire Council’s requirements.
